Yoga for Transformation

A Luxury Retreat at The Almanage with Paula O’ Hanlon

A three day Viniyoga retreat set in the beautiful surroundings of the Knockmealdown mountains.

The sanskrit (the language of yoga) word Bhávana can be translated into many different words such as; an idea, a theme, a focus, a feeling.  The root of this word is bhú which means to become. So essentially bhávana is an instrument of becoming.

Over this three day Viniyoga retreat we will experience and inhabit our bodies and minds through attentive ásana, (yoga practice), gentle pránáyáma (breathing practices of yoga) and vedic chanting, allowing us to observe and discover ourselves in a new way and therefore a new way of being… a transformation.
